From ca. late 1800's, this listing is for a group of antique bronze figural hand and ball doorknockers. They are bronze and have a wonderful patina. All the hands cradle a flattened ball which would act as the knocker part of the doorknocker. These make a spectacular paperweight or cabinet handle. Each still maintain their hardware connector so they can be installed with a screw as a cabinet door handle or as a doorknocker. They are a remarkable snapshot of a way of life over 100 years old. This teensy perfume bottle is very unique and I believe very rare! The brass neck has an older patina to it while the glass stopper and dauber are a bright gold glass which upon close inspection appears to be like a mercury glass although I have never seen a gold-colored piece of mercury glass. Perhaps gold/colored glass like this is called somet ...click for details

This teensy perfume bottle is very special. It is not your run-of-the-mill mini-perfume. This one has a hinged part that when opened reveals a mirror! How cools is that?! The front side is silver-tone filigree work. The back side shows clearly the opaque glass body of the bottle. Glass stopper intact. Turuoise color jewels and a small amount of enamelled flowers. Lots packed into a tiny package! Email if no camera icon for pictures.

Enclosed in a convex glass and velvet backed frame, this extraordinary antique fan is wonderful to look at. The painted and printed picture on paper depicts a series of romantic scenes. Each of the fan panels are intricately cut into figural fretwork on mother-of-pearl. There is visible damage to a few of the mother-of-pearl panels. Also, the fragile paper has been reinforced with tape in several of the folds from the backsides. Due to these condition issues, and the fact that it is impossible t ...click for details
