Really Wonderful Wood Carved Deco Wall Hanging Shadowbox/Display

This display or shadowbox is approximately 3'6" x 2'6" and is quite heavy for its size. The framework is wood and is adorned with added carved and gilded features of drapes. The front edge is bordered in small square (1") mirror tiles. The box is about 5" deep and has an interesting array of shelves. It is mirror backed. Perfect for displaying a small collection of perfume bottles, netsukes, paperweights, etc. The mirrors are flecked with oxidation. One small 1" square mirror tile is missing. The gilding and painted finish is crackled and flaking in spots. One of the clips for hanging is missing and someone installed eye hooks on the back top edge to string a cord for hanging. You will either have to replace the (standard) hanging clips or use the eye hooks like the previous did. This unit is very 30's Hollywood deco period. Very much a vanity item. Email for pictures.
