15K Victorian Earrings w/Seed Turquoise+

These are exquisite earrings. They are very large and long. They are intricately designed and exquisitely crafted to balance the weight so that as heavy as they are, they are very comfortable to wear. Structurally, they are very sound. The round disk that sits closest to the ear is hinged to the bottom hanging piece. The ear wire itself is hinged (!!) so that when you tip it, it makes insertion extremely easy and when you tilt it backwards, the earwire "automatically" closes! They are in perfect, original condition. One tiny old solder repair on the backside near one of the hinges. To the best of my research and knowledge I judge these to be circa 1850's English. Unmarked but tests for at least 15K but not as high as 18K. There is a row of seed turquoise and one tiny ruby.
