This Wedgwood majolica tray (strawberry subject) has condition problems, but it shows beautifully and is well worth the price! It is an oval with open handles. The handles are serpents. It has a pebbly (corn kernel-like) texture. The tray has raised design work of strawberry leaves. Condition wise, the tray is crazed and has a couple of (not bad) stains on the front. The back side has several problems - spiderwebbing on the center base and two chips - one small and one larger. Neither can be seen from the front. Much staining on the reverse side too. Priced accordingly. 8 1/2" x 11 1/2".
