Victorian Period Glass Beaded Purse with Fringe

This lovely glass beaded purse is in remarkable condition for its age! It features garlands of forget-me-nots and roses on a black ground. There is also a nice use of metallic gold beads in the fringe and geometric border at the top as well as a scrolling border on the bottom. The interior is lined with a suede cloth-like fabric. Nice embossed frame and 15" long chain handle. Overall size of beaded purse is 8" x 6". Some minor blac bead loss which does not show up against the dark ground.
