These Candlewick salt cellars or salt dips are difficult to find. They are smaller than the 18 bead nut dishes. The bottom measures about 1 1/4 inches on the outside and a quarter will just fit in the bottom. They are 2 inches across the top and about 3/4 inch tall. There are 4 in this set and the price is $50 for the set of 4 or $12.50 each. I have seen them valued at $25 each, so this is a relative bargain. They are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or roughness...

Aunt Jennie's Attic
This small compote or covered candy dish is probably made by the L.E. Smith Company. It measures 6.5 inches high and is 4.75 inches in diameter. The color is a shade of blue that tends toward turquoise rather than cobalt. It does have a chip or rough spot on the lip where the lid fits on in a sort of scalloped pattern. It does not show at all when the lid is in place, but the price has been reduced to reflect this flaw. It would still make a wonderful addition to your glassware collection.

Any "wrinkles" that show on the picture are glare from the cellophane that covers the page. It is free of wrinkles or other spotting. It looks excellent for paper that is almost 85 years old. This is an original, not a repro. Great for Deco or paper doll collections...
