This small compote or covered candy dish is probably made by the L.E. Smith Company. It measures 6.5 inches high and is 4.75 inches in diameter. The color is a shade of blue that tends toward turquoise rather than cobalt. It does have a chip or rough spot on the lip where the lid fits on in a sort of scalloped pattern. It does not show at all when the lid is in place, but the price has been reduced to reflect this flaw. It would still make a wonderful addition to your glassware collection.

This striking deer planter is a contrast in black and white with accents of gold. The upper edge of the planter has a lighter drip glaze. It is unmarked, and the bottom is partially unglazed. The deer is similar to those found in McCoy and Shawnee pieces. I have seen the same planter in other colors, but this is by far the most attractive and would be a great addition to black and white decor. There are no marks, cracks, or defects on this piece.

This creamer is made in England by Salem China. It is marked Olde Staffordshire and is in very good condition. It matches the other English Village items listed on my site. Price is $15, but if you want several pieces, I can make you a better deal and save you some postage. This is a lovely piece that could be used alone in any blue and white color scheme to hold a bouquet of flowers, too.
