Good Coin Silver Teaspoon by Thomas F. Albright of Philadelphia
Offered is an early American coin silver teaspoon by Philadelphia silversmith, watchmaker and jeweler Thomas F. Albright, working from about 1835 until at least the 1860s. More information on Mr. Albright can be had in Hollan's "Philadelphia Silversmiths"; the mark on this spoon was used for that volume. This spoon measures about 5 3/4 inches in length and weighs about 12 grams. Condition is very good, with moderate wear from normal use but no notable dents and no splits or repairs. All in all a fine spoon with a good clear maker's mark!
