SOLD

Offered is a nice 19th Century American coin silver teaspoon by Godfried M. Zahm of Lancaster, Pennsylvania (working ca. 1838 to the early 1890s). This piece is engraved with period script initials "MD" and bears a well-struck maker's mark of G.M.ZAHM in roman caps in a rectangular punch. This piece measures about 5 1/2 inches in length and weighs about 14 grams. Condition is fair overall, with minimal tip or surface wear, but with some small dimples and dents in the bowl. Please review all the pictures. There are no splits or repairs. All in all a nice example of Lancaster silver prior to the Civil War!
