SOLD

Offered is a lovely set of four American coin silver table spoons by New York City silversmith Teunis Denyse Dubois, with beautiful engraved decoration and a period script "R" monogram. See my other listings for a tablespoon by William Roe with the same monogram, from the same family. These spoons measure a bit under 9 1/4 inches in length on average, and the set of four weighs a total of about 236 grams. Condition overall is good, with some surface wear and a few small dimples, but no major issues. However, one exception is that one spoon has two small splits where the stem meets the bowl (see second picture). The other three spoons are free of splits or repairs, but this one should be noted. Nonetheless, a fine set of high-style late 18th Century NY Federal coin silver tablespoons. All in all a great set!
