Offered is a nice 19th Century American coin silver master salt spoon by Godfried M. Zahm of Lancaster, Pennsylvania (working ca. 1838 to the early 1890s). This piece is engraved with period script initials "CR" and bears a well-struck maker's mark of G.M.ZAHM in roman caps in a rectangular punch. This piece measures about 3 5/8 inches in length and weighs about 8 grams. Condition is very good overall, with no dents, splits or repairs. Please review all the pictures. All in all a nice example of Lancaster silver prior to the Civil War!
