Offered is a nice set of four American coin silver teaspoons by Philadelphia silversmith John Morin, working circa 1808-32. These are probably from 1815-20 by style, but could be a few years earlier or later. Each spoon has a good clear maker's mark and a period engraved script monogram. These spoons measure about 5 3/4 inches in length, and the set of four weighs about 66 grams altogether. These spoons are in good condition overall, with modest wear and some stubborn areas of tarnish, and one or two small, shallow dings but no splits or repairs. All in all a lovely example of some earlier 19th Century Philadelphia coin silver spoons by a good maker!
