ON HOLD

Offered is a lovely set (though available singly) of three Lancaster, Pennsylvania coin silver tablespoons by the well-known partnership of Michael Zahm and John W. Jackson, working together from about 1845 to the early 1870s. These tablespoons, which have clear, well-struck maker's marks and period engraved script "MG" monograms, should date by style to the 1845-50 period, give or take a couple of years. These table spoons measure about 8 5/8 inches in length, and the set weighs about 146 grams altogether (the spoons average about 49 grams each). Condition is excellent overall, with minimal signs of use and no dents, splits or repairs. All in all a superb example of Lancaster coin silver spoons from the first half of the 19th Century!

Available singly for $45 each, or the set for $110.
