Coin Silver Teaspoon by Wriggins & Warden of Philadelphia, 1856-67
$17.50
Offered is a nice Philadelphia coin silver spoon by the firm of Wriggins & Warden (Howard Wriggins and A. B. Warden), doing business at Fifth and Chestnut streets, and afterward on Chestnut street, above Tenth, from about 1856-67. This teaspoon has a clear maker's mark or retailer's mark, and a period engraved script monogram. This spoon measures about 6 inches in length and weighs about 18 grams. Condition is fair overall, with some light surface wear and two or three dimples in the bowl, but no splits or repairs. All in all a nice example of this mark!
