SOLD

Offered is a very good American coin silver teaspoon by the little-known 1840s partnership of Jones & Wilson, working in St. Louis. This piece has a period engraved owner's name ("C. L. Stevens") in lovely script, and a clear maker's mark as well as a city mark. This spoon measures about 6 3/8 inches in length and weighs about 20 grams. Condition is fairly good overall, with some bumps to the bowl but no splits or repairs. Please take a look at all of the pictures. All in all a lovely example of this short-lived firm's wares!
