Baltimore Coin Silver Teaspoon by P. B. Sadtler & Sons, "RCW" Monogram
$16.00
Offered is a nice American coin silver spoon by Baltimore silversmith Philip Benjamin Sadtler, working in partnership with his sons as P.B. Sadtler & Sons, circa 1837-72. This spoon is probably from the 1840s or 1850s based on style. It is nicely engraved "RCW" in period script, and has a rubbed but legible maker's mark. This piece measures about 5 3/4 inches in length and weighs about 15 grams. Condition is fairly good, with some small dings and dents to the bowl and modest tip wear, but no splits or repairs. All in all a useful coin silver spoon from Baltimore!
