NY Coin Silver Spoon Mkd "H&ADRIANCE", Hayes & Adriance, 1816-26

Offered is an interesting early 19th Century American coin silver spoon, marked H&ADRIANCE for Hayes & Adriance (Poughkeepsie, NY), a partnership between Peter Perret Hayes and John Adriance from 1816 to 1826. This piece has a clear maker's mark and a period engraved script monogram. It measures about 5 13/16 inches in length and weighs about 12 grams. Condition is fair at best, with some wear and dings to the bowl, but no splits or repairs. All in all a nice example of an interesting maker's mark!
