New York? Coin Silver Tablespoon by M. Myers, Circa 1825-45

Offered is a nice American coin silver tablespoon marked M.MYERS along with some NY pseudo-hallmarks. This piece measures about 8 5/8 inches in length and weighs about 38 grams. It has a period engraved monogram and a well-struck retailer's mark and pseudo-hallmarks. This piece was probably made in or near New York City, and was also likely retailed there. Condition is fair, with some tip wear and a few shallow bumps to the bowl, along with a bit of tip wear; there are no splits or repairs. All in all a nice example of this mark!
