Cleveland, Ohio Coin Silver Salt Spoon by Benjamin Barnabas Hastings

Offered is a worn American coin silver master salt spoon bearing the maker's mark of Benjamin Barnabas Hastings, circa 1835-46. This piece has a legible but rubbed maker's mark and a very worn monogram that may be MAW. This piece measures a bit over 3 5/8 inches in length and weighs 7 grams. Condition is fair overall, with one or two small dings or nicks to the bowl, but no splits or repairs. All in all a useful piece!
