SOLD

Offered is a nice Virginia or DC coin silver teaspoon by Charles A. Burnett, most likely dating from his Georgetown, Washington, DC period as it is from the same set as two spoons (separately listed) by Masi & Co. of DC. This Burnett teaspoon is initialed "CV" in period script and has a legible maker's mark to the reverse. It measures about 5 1/2 inches in length and weighs about 13 grams. Condition is fairly good, with some small dings and dents to the bowl, and modest wear to the surface, but no splits or repairs. All in all a nice usable piece of 200 year-old Washington, DC silver!
