WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? Yes, we really do live on a country road, located in the heart
of southeast Alabama. We are surrounded by beautiful green trees, pastures, farm land, and
good neighbors who all know each other.

WHAT DO YOU DO OUT THERE? Work in the city and live in the country. We share the land
with cattle, horses, armadillos, opossums, turkey and deer - just to name a few - as well as a pair
of donkeys. We have birthdays parties and family cookouts, anything special to one is special to all.
We have softball, baseball, and soccer games to attend; proms, band concerts, beauty pageants,
and school plays; some of us also answer the call of the wild, and enjoy fishing, camping and hunting.

WHAT'S WITH THAT LOGO? This is a question I enjoy answering. About 35+ years ago I made
matching Easter outfits for my two daughters, and purchased an embroidery transfer pattern of the
two girls you see in the logo. After transferring the patterns to the back of the jackets, and several
weeks of very tedious and intricate work, I completed the embroidery. After the jackets were
outgrown, I framed the embroidery designs and they have been hanging in our home ever since.
Today, my daughters are grown and each of them has a daughter. I plan to give each one of my
granddaughters the picture that their mother wore, as a special gift of their mother and by their
grandmother, so family memories can always be kept close.

As for the logo itself, my oldest daughter edited pictures of the artwork, created the logo design
between the two girls, and formatted it for use on the web pages. Country Road Treasures was
born.

DO YOU HAVE A SHOP? Not open to the public, only for shipping, storage and such. We prefer to
do business online. We have met a lot of wonderful people, made some great friends, and hope the
future holds much of the same.
