A courtship scene covers the center of this beautiful plate and includes 13 other scenes around the sides. The center scene is signed by the artist, Fragonard. A circle of teal outlines the center scene. Each picture is trimmed in gold and gold is outlined on the edges of the plate. This is a nice heavy weight plate with vivid colors. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
Measures 10 3/4" and is definitely a rare quality showpiece. Manufactured by STW Bavaria Germany. Only one available.
