Vintage Unique Diamond Ring with Cluster

This is a one of a kind diamond ring. It was hand crafted in Athens, Greece around the late 1960's by my grandmother's brother-in-law in a small multi-generation goldsmith shop located in the Plaka section of Athens. from 2 older rings circa late 1950's. It has not been certified but it has been inspected by different jewelers. The center diamond is estimated to be around a 1/2 carat, the color from H - J, and the GIA SI1. With the 12 chips surrounding the center for a total carat weight of approximately 1+. The chips are set within a basket frame that is supported by two extensions and the top arc of the ring itself. The ring is 18K gold and marked K18. It is approximately a 5 1/4 ring size. The retail value was estimated to be around $1800.00. It is for sale at $1500.00.
