The Japanese Floral Calendar plate created by master Chokin artist, Shuho, and celebrated calligrapher, Senkin Kage, exclusively for The Hamilton Collection, embodies the profound depth of the cultural heritage of Japan. The first-class creamy-white porcelain plate with 23K gold gilding the outer edge as well as surrounding the illustration on the plate, was limited to 10 days firing per plate, and measures 6" (15.2 cm) in diameter, and with an overall depth of 1" (2.5cm), and weighs 5.6 oz (158 gr).
