Gibson & Sons Marina brown teapot
$15.00
A gorgeous earthenware-porcelain coffee-brown teapot. Hand-painted with an Aztec-Hindu-Christian type of motif. You decide.
The design is interesting..while also pleasing to the eye. It has gold painted
around the lip, below that around the rim, as well as the lip of the spout.
There is also a stripe down both sides of spout as well the back of the handle.
The lid's handle has the gold around it, and
a gold circle around the handle, half-way in just outside the steam hole.
There is a chip on rim of pot and a crack in lid opposite the steam hole.
The teapot is circa 1912+, and the company logo is printed on the bottom.
The teapot is 5 3/8" (13.5cm) tall to top of lid handle, 3 5/8" (9.4cm) across top lip, 18" (45.8cm) girth at widest part, and weighs 27.8oz (788g).
