Old Grecian Flute, Demitasse Cup & Saucer

Old Grecian Flute, Gladstone Bone China demitasse cup & saucer, Pattern #: 5797 was manufactured between 1961 and 1964, in England. The china is thin and elegant with a swirl pattern that scallops at the end of the swirls. The cup and saucer are both trimmed in gold around the lip and edge with gold dots adorning the outside lip of the cup and inner edge of the saucer. Gold also highlights the edges of cup's ear and thumb rest. Both cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, discoloration, or repairs. The company logo is on both the cup and saucer bottoms as well as the hand written pattern number. The cup has a 3/8"(6.0cm) lip diameter, is 2 7/8" (7.3cm) tall, and has a 1 3/4"" (4.5cm) bottom diameter. The saucer is 5 1/2" (14cm) in diameter. The set weighs 8.1oz (225g).
