Wm Rogers Coffee Pot
$60.00
Wm Rogers Coffee Pot, International Silver Pattern # 103. This handsome, polished coffee pot is a product of the The WM Rogers International Silver Company, the result of an 1898 merger of 14 different companies that kept their identities and continued to mark silverware with their own touchmarks. The Wm (the "m" is underlined) ROGERS with an eagle stamped at the beginning and a star at the end logo was used between 1825 to 1841 on his coin silver spoons, and after his death by the Simpson, Hall, Miller and Company and also, from time to time by the International Silver Co. from the late 1800s until at least 1939. There is some wear on the pot. There is slight dark spot above and to the right of spout base, as well as a dark spot on the lid behind the bezel/ornament above hinge point. There are no dings or dents. A very nice piece to either augment or begin one's silver plate collection. The item measures 8 3/8" (21.3cm) tall to peak of lid, 8 3/8"
