Federal Silver Co. Water Pitcher

The Federal Silver Company's footed water pitcher is 9" (22.9cm) tall to the pour lip, 7 5/8" (19.4cm) from lip to handle, and 18 3/4" (47.6cm) around wide area, and weighs 28.9oz (818gr). It has the Federal Silver Co. E.P.C. logo on the bottom. They were manufacturers of both sterling and silver plated wares from 1920 to 1960; the factory closed in 1961. The handle and feet are nicely scrolled with small fleurettes on each foot and on both sides of the handle near the crest. There are no dents or dings on this piece. The inside is slightly stained from use. All in all a very handsome piece.
