Mann China Collector Plates

Two collector advertisement plates offered by Mann. These plates were manufactured in 1981. One plate features green beans on a vine and a sign that says 'stringless beans'. This artwork was an advertisement for HK & FB Thurber & Co., New York. The second plate features a corn cob and above it it says 'Waverly' in a banner. This artwork was an advertisement for Seeman Brothers, 333 Greenwich St. New York. Each plate is 7-1/2" in diameter. These plates have some surface scratching, as they are unglazed on the front. Each plate also sports a chip from the bottom footing about 1" long. Still, these plates are very unique and will display beautifully.
