Franciscan Gravy Boat Apple Pattern

This is an older gravy boat in the Apple pattern. The mark is from 1946-53, I believe. There are no chips or cracks, but it looks like someone has etched an "&" on the bottom. Can be seen in the picture of the stamp. Also there are some tiny scratches along the top edge on one side. I tried to get a picture of them. Only seen in the sunlight. It is still a lovely and usable piece.
