BAREUTHER BAVARIA GERMANY SOUVENIR BOWL

This is a nice 7-3/4" soup bowl with a metal handle. It has a stamped picture of a Bavarian farm house and a girl in a typical period costume of the area. Beautiful 1" gold trim around the edge with a grape leaf pattern. This plate was made in 1966, which was the 100th anniversary for the company. They had a special back stamp for that year, which says 100 jahre (year). The message on the plate translates to "Greetings from the Black Forest". The past owner of this bowl bought it new in 1966, as she & her husband were stationed in Germany at that time.
