Tin Can Folk Art Miniature Appliances

A very unique set of 3 tin can folk art pieces - a miniature stove, sewing machine, and a refrigerator - all in a vibrant red with black trim. The stove has a lift-up top, an oven door that opens and closes with a latch, an oven shelf, and 4 stove knobs of curled tin. It measures 4 inches high with the top down and is 4 inches wide and 3-1/2 inches deep. The sewing machine has a lift-up top, the "Singer" sewing machine lifts up and out of the table, folds back down into the table, has 2 drawers with curled tin knobs, a treadle, and it even has the sewing foot. It measures 5 inches wide, 3-1/2 inches high to the top of the machine table, and 2-3/4 inches deep. The refrigerator has 2 shelves on the inside of the door, one shelf inside, a freezer compartment with a door that opens, and the door latches shut. It measures 6 inches high by 3 inches wide by 3-1/4 inches deep. All of the pieces have some paint loss, scratches, and dings. The maker of this little set certainly had an amazing amount of patience to cut and snip and twist the tin into all the necessary pieces to make this fantastic set of folk art appliances. The creativity that went into making this set is a wonderful example of tin can folk art. PLEASE NOTE: This set is not meant for children to play with because there are sharp edges and corners. It is for display only - not child play.
