Knights of Pythias - The Fraternal Record

This is a nice issue of The Fraternal Record - Knights of Pythias - Vol. 47 - No. 5 - May 1944 - Jacksonville, Florida. The cover is loose, as is the centerfold page. It appears the journal was folded at one time, perhaps to put in a member's pocket after a meeting. The front and back covers are worn with some foxing, which is normal for its age. This 6 x 9 inch journal has 39 pages and all are in good condition. The printing is clear and crisp. There is one small tear at the top of the front cover but the overall condition of this journal is quite good for a 1944 issue. As printed on the cover, this journal was devoted to the interests of masonry - odd fellowship - Knights of Pythias - Red Men and kindred organizations. It includes many business advertisements, member photos, Roster of Lodges, Roster of Tribes, and other interesting articles. This is a nice journal for collectors of 1940's memorabilia.
