Vintage Boxed Dominoes Set

Nice set of 28 vintage dominoes with brass studs and wood storage box. Not sure what material the dominoes are made of but possibly ivory or bakelite. The wood storage box is dove-tailed with a slide cover. There is normal wear to the box and it has a white paint spot on the cover but is otherwise in good condition. It measures 7-3/8" by 2-3/4" by 2-1/2". The dominoes are 1-7/8" by 7/8" by 3/8" and each one has a brass stud in the center. They are all in good condition for their age with normal soil and use marks. Some are more soiled than others. There are no cracks or chips. The maker of this set is unknown - appears to be from the 1940's or possibly earlier. Very nice set for its age. A great collector's item.
