Catalog: Silver: Sterling: Smalls

Those of us who had a chance to visit the "Silver and Shawls: India, Europe, and the Colonial Art Market" at Harvard's Sackler Museum are no doubt all steamed up about anglo-Indian silver, and want a little example for our collection. Stop here. This is a great one. Length just shy of 5 inches; width 1 1/8; decagonal in section; nearly flawless condition (lid over stoppered end does not hold tightly-- see third photo). Unmarked; no monogram.

length excluding chain 2 7/8 inches, fine condition, no monogram, marked with Shiebler trademark and 14K (see fourth photo). Some would say that the Medallion bubble has burst and others would say bubble be damned, good design is timeless...

G. Keller, Paris circa 1920. Fine condition, no monogram, good weight, 2 3/4 by 1 inches. I could think of many uses for this on your nightstand but would probably get myself into trouble by mentioning them...

Measuring 4 3/8 by 1 1/8 by 1 3/8 inches, this set will fit easily into your purse or briefcase, but at 31 oz. Troy (that's two pounds, two ounces in lay terms) it may weigh you down a bit. The case has some minor dents, as one might expect, from its occupants which are small and dense...
