looks rather like the work of Antonio Pineda but marked only Taxco 925 (see fourth photo), length 15 inches. Since it just barely fits the neck of Yours Truly, we'd hoped to have him as a model but when our photographer showed up he had run off to the wood shed, forcing us to use a stand-in.

both are identical although they look a bit different in the photo. We think the leftmost horses to be not nearly so photogenic as their dextral companions, but then there's no accounting for taste... The findings are base metal, the front appears to be silver although we have not tested it. Just shy of 7/8 inches in diameter, excellent condition, no monogram.

Each link comprises a backing of pierced and hand-filed silver fused to a top portion of gold. It has a great feel "in the hand" and lies flat on the neck without kinking or fussing. The only mark appears to be "372 B" in a tiny hexagonal punch. I suspect that it is Spanish, and the B stands for Barcelona, but wouldn't stake my life on it. At any rate, we're hard pressed to think of a more attractive necklace that's ever passed through our establishment. ...click for details

embossed around border "American Amateur Athletic Union of the United States" and year 1888 in Roman numerals; engraved (reverse) "RUN HIGH JUMP", diameter 1 3/4 inches, weight 27.0 grams, signed 'in the die' DIEGES & CLUST, marked "10K" on bezel, flawless condition. It's worth looking at the reverse of this object (2nd photo) to see all of the sports which have been pictured. probably a crest and we suspect Missouri-related given the maker. Great quality and weight; the condition is unassailable when viewed from the front but from the reverse (see second photo) it is obvious that there have been some different findings attached in years past... 2 5/8 by 2 1/8 inches, no monogram, marked "Mermod & Jaccard / Solid Silver".

they look to be much earlier but are probably mid 20th century and hail from the fair city of Cork (see 2nd and 3rd photos for marks). Diameter of round section 1 1/4 inches, excellent condition, no monograms.
