length 8 1/2 inches, weight an impressive 6.4 Troy ounces, no monogram, with Jensen trademark circa 1940, "84", and Swedish import marks, (see third enlargement).

Over the years, we've bought and sold many pieces of Blossom. This one is in exemplary condition, with gentle hammer marks on spoon bowl and fork tines; each petal of the blossom with full detail as shown in fourth photo. If you're looking for a "best example," stop looking and send us an email!

length 3 3/4 inches, weight .77 oz. Troy, no monogram, fine condition.

May I offer our apologies, dear reader, for having previously catalogued these as "Acorn"? Old age is taking its toll, here.

height 1 3/4; diameter of base 2 1/4 inches, weight 3.28 Troy ounces, excellent condition, discreetly monogrammed on the underside as shown in photos three and four.

These are perfectly plumb, but wide angle distortion has caused one to look a bit akilter, and for this we must apologize, dear reader.

length 5 1/4 inches, weight 1.0 oz Troy, excellent condition, no monogram.

This piece is not commonly found.

height 3 1/8; top diameter 5 inches, weight 6.14 Troy ounces, no monogram, excellent condition.

Similar in design and construction to its larger cousin known as the "Louvre Bowl," (see Drucker, p. 188) because it is in the permanent collection of that institution.

height 2 1/4; diameter of base 2 3/16 inches, weight 3.05 Troy ounces, base shows some evidence of a candle having been pushed down too hard (see third enlargement) but we may say that it's in fine condition when viewed from above!

model B1925, probably a Codman design, 3 by 2 3/8 inches, heavy, finely cast and in untouched original condition. A museum quality object.

height 6 inches, widest section of base 5 1/8 inches, superb color and condition, monogram "GVL" (?) script obverse. We've bought and sold many Gorham novelty items, but this is certainly among the best of its class...

width 11 1/4; depth 6 inches, excellent original condition, no monogram, weight 23.4 Troy ounces (!), please see fifth enlargement for mark. The ink holder is a hand wrought gilt sterling (modern) replacement, which we think an improvement over the original which was glass.

A William C. Codman design, identical examples may be found in both the Jolie and Robert Shelton Collection, "Magnificent, Marvelous Martelé," pp. 498-9 and the MFA Boston, accession number 2001.804

height and diameter both 1.5 inches, a few minor dents which don't show up well in the photographs but good overall condition, no monogram, marked as one may suspect with the Gorham trademark, sterling, and B4186.

length 13 1/2 inches, weight 5 oz Troy, no monogram. Concerning condition, the handle is ever so slightly off vertical and there are some very minor dents in bowl (please see fourth photo). Both of these issues are difficult for my eye to detect, so I do not feel that they need to be addressed. The bust looks pretty much the way it did when this item left the factory in Providence some hundred forty odd years ago...

length fifteen inches, weight 5.67 Troy ounces, excellent condition, monogrammed and marked as shown in enlargements 3 & 4. The bowl remains most of its original gilding and is uniform in color.

length five inches, excellent condition, monogrammed "MC" script reverse of bowl, weight .68 oz Troy. Items with this mark would appear to be scarce.

exceptionally colourful, gilt bowl, no monogram, excellent condition save for one small portion of missing blue inlay (see third photo). I hesitate to call this damage. Gorham had significant problems with the enameling process and it may be a slight "second".

the parcel gilt blade luxuriously engraved with rose flowers and foliage, length 10 1/4 inches, weight a massive 5.06 Troy ounces, excellent original condition, monogrammed (reverse) as shown in fourth enlargement.
