Alas for the poor tea tongs it seldom causes much excitement, but this one does stand out from the crowd. In a bit of Victorian whimsy, the Durgin designers added a dew claw to this rather accurately modeled bird's foot. Length 4 1/2 inches, weight .93 oz Troy, no monogram, excellent condition.
