length 5 3/4+ inches, some light pattern wear (reverse, see third photo) but fine overall condition, monogrammed, marked with Gorham trademark and "Copyrighted".
New York circa 1837, length 6 3/4 inches, some slight tine and pattern wear but fine overall condition, monogrammed "W.B. Corning" (script, obverse). For those who are genealogically inclined the Corning name will no doubt provide countless hours of pleasure, and Mr. Ginochio himself must certainly be of interest, as an early Italian immigrant.
some might call it an aspic slice and who would we be to argue, length 9 1/2 inches, good weight, excellent condition, monogrammed (script, reverse, see third photo).
Philadelphia circa 1875, length just shy of 10 1/8 inches, monogrammed obverse "E.F.", in such fine condition as to snag the polishing rag with those little burrs thrown up by the engraving tool (sorry if we're plagiarizing some bloke across the pond, there!).
