Copper items by this maker would appear to be scarce, especially larger ones such as this.

A perfect "entry level" item for someone who is considering a collection of hand wrought silver.

While it may be difficult to work up too much excitement over a mustard ladle, this one is especially long and well-constructed, with a shaft that chamfers as it meets the perfectly hemispherical bowl, and an ever so stylish gently tip't drop.

In many ways, this is an exemplary item, as it has had scant use, little pattern wear and is pleasantly heavy in the hand. Sadly, as may be seen in our second photo, there has been an erasure from the reverse. However, the spoon is still guaranteed to hold your soup or dessert!
Did these spoons belong to one of Vice President John Calhoun's children? We like to think yes, but don't ask me to prove it!
This lovely example is entirely hand wrought, and dates from 1948. There have been a few dents removed from a...
Readers of our little web page know that there's not much coin silver flatware here-- that is, pieces made between 1825 and 1868 in the good old U.S. of A. Why? There is a pinprick dent, visible mostly from the reverse, which we show in excruciating detail (see third enlargement); also an engraved inventory number, but aside from these issues the condition is very good.

Length 16 3/4 inches, of exceptional weight (2.63 Troy ounces) and quality, in excellent condition with firmly functioning clasp, this is equivalent of anything you'll find by Margot or other well known Mexican designers at a fraction of the ...

It is an unusual pleasure to find an object which is engraved ("J. Diprose, EsqR / from J.J.G. Bombay") with both a name and a location, to lend it an added sense of history.
This item is superb in both design and execution. Though we always hesitate to say "flawless condition," one would be hard-pressed to find fault. If your collection wants for a representative from Victorian era silver...

There is some slight wear to engraving on blade, though nothing tragic, and also a few scratches as shown in first enlargement which I'll gladly attempt to polish out before shipping if you ask me very nicely.
