(1981) but of extraordinarily fine craftsmanship, height 2 1/4, bottom diameter 1 3/8 inches, weight 1.56 oz. Troy, gilt interior and die rolled band above foot, superb condition. Put this in your dollhouse and give all those little folks a chance to get snockered...

1836, 2 3/4 by 1 5/8 by 5/8 inches, no monogram, gilt interior, weight 2.2 oz. Troy, some corners have minor dents which we show in excruciating detail (see photos three & four) but good overall condition, great color, and reasonably priced.

length 6 inches, monogrammed "RBK", excellent condition. In deference to those collectors who find it difficult to abide by someone else's initials, we've made these tantalizingly cheap...

length 6 7/8 inches, monogram "F", excellent condition, weight 9 oz. Troy, marked with Alvin trademark; "Sterling" and "Patent".

length just shy of 8 1/2 inches, monogrammed "S" obverse, exemplary condition.

circa 1900, length 10.6, height 7.5 centimeters, mass 162.7 grams, .950 standard. If you're a Brit, that's 4 inches long; 3 1/4 inches high; 5.23 Troy ounces. We're not going to prattle on about how rare it is or how good it is but rest assured that it's both. Aside from a small test mark on the underside (please see fourth photo) the condition is pretty much flawless.

length 8 5/8 inches, some slight wear to high points but fine overall condition, monogram EAG script with flourishes, shell drop, weight 1.47 oz. Troy.

model B1925, probably a Codman design, 3 by 2 3/8 inches, heavy, finely cast and in untouched original condition. A museum quality object.

length 7 5/8 inches, monogrammed "F.E. Dean", maker J.B. & Co (possibly Jones Ball & Co, Boston circa 1850). Most of the handles have the usual pinprick dents which one might expect in knives from this period; two have some larger dings which we've shown in photo number five. The blades are in fine condition.

Canton Province circa 1830, one 8; the other 8 1/4 inches, some tine wear and knife cuts (see third photo) as shown but wonderfully heavy and well made, with a classic set of marks.

length just shy of ten inches, superb condition, gilt tines, marked only "Black Starr & Frost STERLING" but probably by Dominick & Haff, monogrammed "PM" (script, reverse) perhaps in honor of the cocktail hour...
