Length 7 1/4 inches, fine condition, monogrammed "G" (or is it "T"?) Old English style. Surely someone amongst ye Internet Legions is in need of a Watteau fish fork?

length 9 inches, no monogram, excellent condition. When it comes to Acorn we've always felt that the sinuous bit of floral chasing where tines meet handle is what separates the men from the boys (can one still say such a thing without ending up like Larry Summers?)-- some pieces have it, and some don't. Please have a closer look, in photo number three.

looks rather like the work of Antonio Pineda but marked only Taxco 925 (see fourth photo), length 15 inches. Since it just barely fits the neck of Yours Truly, we'd hoped to have him as a model but when our photographer showed up he had run off to the wood shed, forcing us to use a stand-in.

A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H I got a spoon / From Kalamazoo. Sorry. Couldn't resist that one. Arguably the only spoon you'll ever see with this mark (see second photo). Length 7 inches, some minor dents but no tip wear and very good overall condition. Monogrammed "Bardeen" (script, obverse) presumably for the family of Charles Russell Bardeen, 1871-1935, noted physician and educator.

of regional interest, length 8 1/4 inches, monogrammed "L.J.K." (script, obverse), fine condition. This broad fiddle pattern is typical of the Louisville/Cincinatti region. Marked "J.S. & S. COIN"; see second photo.

Boston and Salem Massachusetts circa 1800, length 9 1/8 inches, slight tip wear but heavy and in fine overall condition, monogrammed "H" (obverse, script with flourishes).

New Orleans circa 1858, length 8 3/4 inches, some minor dents in bowls but no tip wear, good overall condition and above average weight; monogrammed "F.M.P." (script, obverse). Items bearing the mark of L. Simons (see second photo) would appear to be scarce.

A.B. Griswold & Co, New Orleans, length 5 7/8 inches, monogrammed "ML" (reverse, script with flourishes). These are not in the best condition, with some dents and tip wear, but they did spend time in our great Crescent City... Please see second photo for mark.

bowls, marked only "sterling" and "J.E.Caldwell & Co." To say that these are "highly carved" would be an understatement, and though about a hundred years old they are in essentially new condition. Length five inches, no monogram.
