an original set at that-- all with date letter "F", S.K. in rectangle, 11 over 12, and city mark. Length 8 3/8 inches, weight 31.1 Troy ounces, all monogrammed "M" (reverse, period script, see third photo) most have some slight tine wear but the pattern is in very good condition. One or two are hard to find, but a set of twelve is rare, and this is not a word which we use lightly!!!

Our only American assay office was located in the city of Baltimore, circa 1814-30...

Yes, just one lonesome spoon in spite of the fact that you see eight pictured above, and it's a bit substandard at that with some small dents in the bowl and a slightly uneven edge of same, length 5 7/8 inches, monogrammed "Maria". To reflect both these sad issues and our troubled times, the price is unabashedly cheap.

looks rather like the work of Antonio Pineda but marked only Taxco 925 (see fourth photo), length 15 inches. Since it just barely fits the neck of Yours Truly, we'd hoped to have him as a model but when our photographer showed up he had run off to the wood shed, forcing us to use a stand-in.
