Canton circa 1825, gilt interior, the elaborate cast everted godrooned rim adorned with flowers and scrolls, the midsection with ten chased panels of grapes and vines, the finely chased acanthus leaf thumbrest atop double C-scroll handle. Height 5 inches; length across handle to spout 7 3/8 inches, weight 21 Troy ounces, discretely monogrammed "W" in period script just below the waistline, marked as shown in fourth enlargement.
This is a hefty, fine quality item. Though there's light wear to the high points, it is in wonderful overall condition and would make a superb addition to any collection of Chinese export silver.
