Exceptional 10K AAU high jump medal

embossed around border "American Amateur Athletic Union of the United States" and year 1888 in Roman numerals; engraved (reverse) "RUN HIGH JUMP", diameter 1 3/4 inches, weight 27.0 grams, signed 'in the die' DIEGES & CLUST, marked "10K" on bezel, flawless condition. It's worth looking at the reverse of this object (2nd photo) to see all of the sports which have been pictured. I can make out: lacrosse, tennis, cycling, track, crew, baseball and fencing but look carefully and you'll no doubt see more! A splendid gift for the graduate, especially if she happens to be an athlete.
