We always hesitate to label an item "flawless," and indeed here there is a very slight dip in the bowl just over the Gorham trademark (done in the striking?), and some minor scratches on reverse, but aside from this the condition is extraordinary. When running a finger over the decoration, one still feels traces of burrs thrown up by the engraver's tools. Weight 3.44 Troy ounces, no monogram, gilt bowl.
