Gebelein hand wrought silver on copper bowl

We were leafing through the sold items this morning on The Auction Site Which Must Not Be Named, and came upon a bowl very much like this one, which fetched 177.50 It seemed like a good opportunity to highlight the differences between us and them. First of all, as mentioned elsewhere on these pages, there's no "caveat emptor" here, nor is there a need to "check how you're protected," because our web page has nothing which requires your protection. We don't expect you to bid on our items and pay exorbitant auction prices, nor will we ever "stick" you with something-- if you're not satisfied, simply send it back. Now, about the bowl, top diameter 5 inches, height two inches, there is one spot of pitting in the silver (please see third photo) but fine overall condition, no monogram.
