1950's tan syrup dispenser by Vernonware California pottery with a butterscotch Bakelite handle. In good condition, no scratches, no micro abrasions, no cracks. There are 2 or 3 very tiny glaze pops and there is a chip that can't be seen when the metal cap is screwed on (see 2nd photo). The color is tan with a slight pinkish hue. In excellent working condition, the dispenser measures 5.5" high.

California Catalina Pottery clam shell serving dish or bowl with a matte turquoise finish and pale lavendar gloss exterior. Marked CATALINA, Made in USA. In good condition, it measures about 15" across

Large mid-century California pottery "Indian Summer" salad serving bowl from Metlox's Poppytrail division. Dates 1953 and in excellent original condition it measures 12.5" x 6.5". Note there is a firing flaw, maybe a kiln pop, but it is glazed over and is original to the piece. Hard to notice, especially looking down, please study first photo carefully.

Large matte blue Metlox "Mission Bell" console bowl featuring a ram’s head with flowers on each end. It would make a wonderful centerpiece, but could be used as a planter or serving bowl. In excellent condition inside and out. Marked on the bottom“Mission Bell P616 California”. Measures about 13.5″ long x 4.5 ″ high. Dates 1930s.

California Pottery Collectors this is for you! A rare and very early pre-Vernon Kilns dish marked, "Poxon China, Vernon, California". Poxton China of Vernon, CA was purchased by Vernon Kilns in 1931. Decorated in blue transferware featuring a peaceful scene with a sailboat and windmill, the dish is trimmed in gold showing little or no wear. There is some expected minor crackling indicative of age, most visible on the underside...

Set of 4 Metlox Poppytrail dinner plates in the Tiffany pattern. Measuring 11" in diameter the colors are vibrant. Marked on the back "Tiffany Poppytrail Metlox, Safe in Oven and Dishwasher, Durable, Hand Decorated, Made in Calif., U.S.A. 377." You will never find a set in as good condition as these four. They are perfect. Circa late 1976.

Hand painted Metlox California pottery "Holstein Herd" pitcher. Circa 1988, this was one last lines that Metlox produced before closing in early 1989. The pitcher is in excellent like new condition measuring 8.5" high.

Set of 4 Metlox "Mission Bell" nested mixing bowls in turquoise, yellow, peach, and cream with a matte finish. Condition is very good on all the bowls, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines. The yellow bowl has some visible crazing inside and out. The cream bowl has minor crazing on exterior bottom and inside bottom. The bowls measure as follows: Turquoise 9" across x 5.5" high, Yellow 6.75 across x 5" high, Peach or coral 5.5" across, Cream about 5" across...

Metlox Coffee Pot and Lid in the California Contempora pattern. Appears to never have been used. There is minute glaze skip on the handle. In excellent original condition this stunning coffee pot measures 17.5" high with lid. The cork is in excellent like-new condition.
