Small sterling silver knife pin with Washington, DC and 1949 hand engraved on front. Marked Sterling and SB on the back. Silver pins like this were often given to young ladies in the 1940s when they selected their sterling silver flatware pattern. We don't know why it is engraved unless some were used as souvenir pieces. An interesting and pretty conversation piece, it measures 2.5" long.

A darling silver hog badger betel nut box from Cambodia. Made in the tradition of Khmer silver work each box is hand-formed of sheet silver and then repousséd. These little boxes have always been prized gifts. Their use included holding betel nuts, cosmetics, and ointments. Measures 2.5" long.

Rare historical Metlox Poppytrail commemorative souvenir ashtray. In raised letters is, "City of Paris San Francisco 1850-1940". The City of Paris Dry Goods Company (later City of Paris) was one of San Francisco's most important department stores from 1850 to 1976.
