California Metlox Poppytrail soup tureen from their Cabbage line. The tureen measures 7" across, ladle 9.5" long, underplate 11" diameter. Assembled with lid and underplate in position, the set measures 10" high. Poppytrail mark is on the underplate. In excellent condition, it dates circa 1970.

A herd of 5 antique wool coated PUTZ sheep made of paper-mache with stick legs. Hand-painted with friendly expressions, they are in very good condition. One sheep's ear appears to have been damaged. We have a 5th small sheep that is perfect except he is missing his collar (not pictured, but we are including him for FREE with the sale, so you will receive a total 6 sheep). Small sterling silver knife pin with Washington, DC and 1949 hand engraved on front. Marked Sterling and SB on the back. Silver pins like this were often given to young ladies in the 1940s when they selected their sterling silver flatware pattern. We don't know why it is engraved unless some were used as souvenir pieces. An interesting and pretty conversation piece, it measures 2.5" long.
